Welcome to Making Melodies and Giving Thanks, Christian Praise for Social Media.
“Making Melodies and Giving Thanks” all started as a Facebook page to encourage my sisters in Christ. The page is based on the Bible verses in Ephesians 5, “… BE FILLED with the SPIRIT, ADDRESSING ONE ANOTHER in PSALMS and HYMNS and SPIRITUAL SONGS, SINGING and making MELODY to the LORD with YOUR HEART, GIVING THANKS ALWAYS and FOR EVERYTHING to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.“
As time went on I felt led to add more FB Christian themed pages, some of which you will find links to on this site. You can like these pages and share posts from them on your social media to help encourage yourselves and others in the faith. We just need something uplifting Jesus on SOCIAL MEDIA. God’s Word is truth, and His Holy Scriptures are the basis for all that you will find here.
In the summer of 2020, I formed a Heart Ladies Bible Study Group on Facebook. I actually wrote the in-depth BIBLE STUDY myself for the group and have it available in pdf format for anyone interested. The topic of my study is on the I AM statements Jesus proclaimed about himself found in the Gospel of John. My plan is to use this blog platform using my studies in the future, so stay tuned! I know God is up to something great!
